Medical disclaimer
Overview
Marashi Eye Clinic respects your privacy. This app is for patient education, self-assessment, and clinic information. All of your data is stored only on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party.
No account, no server
The app does not require sign-in or an account. It has no backend server and does not upload your data to the internet.
What is stored on your device
The app may store locally: your self-check history; saved articles, tips, and post-care guidance; care checklist items; profile fields and any optional medical notes you enter; app settings; and your saved clinic QR. This data stays on your device and is only visible to whoever uses the device.
Camera
The camera is used only when you open clinic QR scanning or the Camera Visual Aid. The image is processed live on the device; it is not saved or uploaded anywhere.
Calendar
The app writes to your phone calendar only when you tap "Add to Calendar". It adds only the event you choose; it does not read or share your other calendar events.
Phone, WhatsApp & Maps
Call, WhatsApp, and Maps buttons open external apps on your device. Their use is governed by those apps' and your carrier's privacy terms. These are for non-emergency administrative contact only.
No tracking or ads
The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. It does not request or track your location.
Your control over your data
You can delete any saved item from within the app at any time. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes all locally stored data.
Children's privacy
This app is for general awareness. If it is used for a child, an adult should supervise. We do not collect any data about children because the app does not collect data at all.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any update will appear here with a new "last updated" date.
Contact us
For any privacy question, contact Marashi Eye Clinic using the "Call Us" / Contact options inside the app.
